Odenilson and Maria Luiza graduated from the Southern Regular Baptist Seminary in 2000 already with the desire to be missionaries in Africa, most especially in Mozambique, burning in their hearts. a Seeking the will of God, they returned to Bahia where they were from. Pastor Odenilson assumed the pastorate of New Alliance Regular Baptist Church in Dias D'Avila, in the metropolitan region of Salvador. They also worked with professors from the Regular Baptist Seminary in Bahia and with the Independent Baptist Bible Institute. They joined MBBF in November of 2004. a They received the support of AMIBREB - the Regular Baptist missionary Association of Bahia - and of the churches in Bahia. They arrived in Maputo in August of 2006 joining the missionary team in Bagamoio until God showed them where to start a new church. a In October of 2007, they moved to the neighborhood of Alto Mae, closer to downtown, and began Bible studies with children, teens, and women. They closed in their backyard and began services. There! The second church in the city of Maputo was started! Odenilson and Maria Luiza have two adult sons that remain in Brazil.

carvalho767 Moving to the new space - Our church is meeting in bigger place with several rooms on the main promenade, put the name in front of the Church, the frequency has increased every Sunday, with an average of 55 people. Preaching point - We are a Bible study on Sunday night in the neighborhood of Liberty in the city of Matola. We have an average attendance of 18 people who have learned about the Word of God.
