Christmas Carol On 2 December we held our Christmas cantata with the participation of children and members of the Church. It was a great opportunity to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. On this occasion we received 26 visitors, and 8 for the first time, including the Mayor of Vargem Bonita and her family. Now we pray that these visitors come back and be saved by Christ Jesus. New Facade Despite the constant rain of late years, by the Grace of God, completed the reform of the new facade of our Temple. The walls were raised and the painting was done, now just need to put the letters (which are already with us) and write times on the white wall opposite. Completion of Activities In early December we completed several activities in which we invest a lot this year, for example, the Bible Institute, a children's Bible Club, the Women's Society, the gathering of teenagers, among others. Now in 2012, especially in February, each of these new activities will be resumed and included by the Grace of the Lord. Help for 2012 In the last letter we wrote asking for help, and thanks to our gracious God, this prayer was answered! A couple of Curitiba, in the newly formed Regular Baptist Seminary South, decided to come help us. In January she will be coming in and assist in the implementation of e building Vargem Bonita Baptist Church and evangelization in our city. Luiz Miguel and Debora are members of the Regular Baptist Church of Jardim Florense in Campinas, SP. They went to school at the Southern Regular Baptist Seminary and graduated in December of 2005. A few months before their graduation, they visited Serra da Canastra, and were absutely certain that was the place where God wanted them to work. With the approval of their church, they left for Serra da Canastra in February of 2006 to help with the work in Sao Roque de Minas, already considering a new work in the neighboring city of Vargem Bonita. Land with a house and a warehouse was bought and the church was inaugurated in September of 2006. They have lived in Vargem Bonita since then. Luiz Miguel and Debora joined MBBF in December of 2006. They have a daughter named Agnes.
