A Brazilian Mission With a Worldwide Vision...
Brazilian Fundamentalist Baptist Mission
The Brazilian Baptist Fundamentalist Mission is a helping organism to the fundamental Baptist churches for the fulfillment of their missionary roles. MBBF knows that the responsibility of missions lies with the local church. We believe that the Great Commission (Mt. 28:19-20) can only be completely fulfilled if it is done through the local church. It is through the local church that the "manifold wisdom of God" should be made known to the world (Eph. 3:10). THE MISSIONARY , however, is commissioned by the church, supported by the church, sent to found and establish other churches, having to account for his work to his church. In this way, it is the RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CHURCH TO : :: Promote spiritual maturity for the missionary candidate; :: Provide leadership experience for him in the church; :: Provide adequate theological training (Seminary); :: Evaluate the missionary candidate; :: Provide financial support for the missionary and his family; :: Send him and his family to the desired field :: Pray for the missionaries sent and communicate with them; :: Visit them, help them, and participate in their projects; :: Offer them advice and comfort in times of need or conflict; :: Take them in during their time of furlough, keeping them active in the church. Here is where MBBF comes in! MBBF acts as an arm of the local church to help to care for its missionaries. The church needs help in taking care of missionaries while it takes care of its other tasks. The missionary needs someone who will help him to be remembered while he continues his work. The main objective of MBBF is to FACILITATE THE LIFE of missionaries and of the churches that support them. MBBF was created for: :: Giving credentials to the missionary for those who can support him :: Divulging the work of the missionary. :: Facilitating the communication of the missionary with his maintainers. :: Accessorizing the work of the missionary and of the church. :: Monitoring and evaluating the work of the missionary. :: Helping the churches to direct their support to fields that are unreached or barely reached. ... and help the BRAZILIAN FUNDAMENTAL BAPTIST CHURCH to go to all the word, preaching the Gospel to every creature.
